I had the tremendous fortune to work with Lori Mills, Natalie Mills, Haylie Mills, & Dana Duffy over this weekend. I could not have asked for a better group to help train. We went for over 5 hours with very little downtime. These chicks worked hard, never complained and were extremely tough. Training in JKD requires you to experience it. There is no other way. You are going to get punched, kicked, thrown, choked, eye poked, groin grabbed, bitten, pinched, stabbed at, wrist locked, small joint manipulated, foot locked, arm barred, and more. Its just how it is. These women are now part of "Team Lowrimore" which is by invitation only. I would also like to thank "Roe" and "Donna Martin" for their selfless help to make my dream of teaching JKD and Kettlebells.

  1. Al Lowrimore is amazing. I can’t say enough about Al and his team, Roe and Donna. Al's self defense class was more impressive than I could have ever expected. I took my daughters and a friend.
Al taught us not only the physical techniques, but mental techniques that train you to think in such a way so you don't end up in a dangerous situation.
Al is clear and concise in his instruction and does not hesitate to stop and take the necessary one-on-one time to help each individual in his class learn the right techniques.
Al runs a solid program and clearly loves what he does. He teaches in such a way that makes everyone feel comfortable and open enough to ask questions.
As a parent with two daughters in college, I feel a lot more confident in their ability to escape or act in any situation.
We all walked away from this class feeling empowered and confident that we have the tools to protect ourselves if necessary.
I highly recommend this class to women of all ages in any location because an attack can happen to anyone, anywhere.
Thank you for an unforgettable experience.
